Burnsall Village Hall is a wonderful venue for your private event and is ideal for both formal and more relaxed functions – wedding receptions, parties, christenings, evening dinners, funeral wakes, as a base for educational trips and even for overnight accommodation for walking, cycling, educational & youth groups.
For our facilites list of what each room offers please see our Room Hire page. The Main Hall has a capacity of up to 120 people seated and the hall is decorated in neutral colours, so it will complement any colour scheme you have planned for your event.
If you are having a band or DJ, our stage is available and you will have full use of our audio-visual equipment & lighting system should you need it
The Meeting Room is ample for smaller parties, meetings & christenings with a 30 seat capacity or 50 standing and it’s ample space is perfect if you are laying out a buffet. This room can be hired on it’s own or in conjunction with the main hall
Food preperation & storage at BVH couldn’t be easier – Our fully fitted Kitchen is available should you wish to cater for yourself or, if you prefer, it has all the amenities required as a base for an outside caterer. Please visit the links page for recommended local catering businesses.
Please note: Parking – BVH does not have car parking facilities but the use of the local school playground as parking for events at the hall can be hired seperately. Please contact us for further details
BVH has been used many times as an accommodation & educational base for youth & educational groups for up to 20 people We have ladies and gents shower facilities and the kitchen is available if you wish to cater for yourself.
Please note: If the hall is used for accommodation, sleeping bags and sleeping equipment must be brought.
